We are recruiting an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join an alternative provision in Worthing, supporting secondary-aged students with a range of SEND and SEMH needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who can build positive relationships with young people and provide calm, consistent support both academically and pastorally.
Support secondary-aged students with SEND and SEMH needs.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support.
Assist with learning, engagement and behaviour.
Build positive relationships with students.
Work alongside teachers and support staff to meet individual needs.
Previous SEND experience is essential.
Experience supporting students with SEMH or behavioural needs is desirable.
Patient, resilient and confident managing challenging situations.
Passionate about supporting young people and helping them succeed.
Previous experience in a school, alternative provision or specialist setting is advantageous.
£14.25 per hour
