Pink Tile Education is currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming school in the Croydon area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential. You will work closely with students who have a range of needs including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), complex learning needs, and behavioural challenges, providing the encouragement and support they need to thrive both academically and personally.

Whether you’re an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils within the classroom to help them access learning.
• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for students with additional needs.
• Work with children who have ASD, complex needs, and behavioural challenges.
• Deliver and support small group interventions.
• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience working with children or young people.
• Has experience supporting SEND, SEMH, ASD, or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential).
• Is patient, resilient, and adaptable.
• Can remain calm and positive in challenging situations.
• Is passionate about helping young people succeed.
• Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Pay & Holiday Pay

The advertised daily rate is inclusive of 12.07% PAYE holiday pay.
