SEND Teaching Assistant – Littlehampton

Location: Littlehampton, West Sussex

Hours: 08:30 AM – 03:30 PM, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £89 per day PAYE, temp to perm

Join a caring Littlehampton primary as a SEND Teaching Assistant and help children with additional needs access a creative and inclusive curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEND in class and through targeted interventions.

• Implement strategies from EHCPs and liaise with teachers and external agencies.

• Support communication, sensory needs and personal care where necessary.

• Contribute to a safe and welcoming classroom environment.

Skills & Experience / What We’re Looking For:

• Experience with SEND preferred but not essential.

• Transferable skills: compassion, adaptability, clear communication, teamwork.

• Ability to follow plans and maintain confidentiality.

Additional Information:
