SEND Teaching Assistant – Havant

Full Time | Immediate Start | £14.25 per hour

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive educational setting in Havant. This full-time opportunity is ideal for candidates who are passionate about inclusive education and supporting pupils with additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, communication needs, and other additional learning requirements
• Deliver targeted one-to-one and small-group support
• Encourage positive learning behaviours and engagement
• Support classroom activities and personalised learning plans
• Help pupils develop confidence, independence, and life skills
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to achieve positive outcomes

Candidate Profile

• Experience in education, care, support work, youth work, or similar settings is advantageous
• Passionate about supporting children and young people
• Patient, flexible, and resilient
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable and committed to a full-time role
