SEND Teaching Assistant – Basingstoke
Full Time | Immediate Start | £14.25 per hour
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive educational setting in Basingstoke on a full-time basis.

The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, SEMH, and Moderate Learning Difficulties
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and differentiated learning activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support
- Encourage positive behaviour and social development
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
- Support pupils with emotional regulation and communication needs
- Work closely with teaching staff, SEND professionals, and parents/carers where appropriate

- Experience working with children or young people with additional needs is desirable

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to commit to a full-time role
