We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Hastings.
You’ll be supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them access learning, build confidence, and reach their potential.

Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND (including ASD, ADHD, speech & language, and SEMH needs).
Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement tailored support plans (EHCPs/IEPs).
Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour in the classroom.
Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and development.
Record and report pupil progress to staff as required.
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school or similar setting).
Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is essential.
