SEN Teaching Assistant – Specialist School – Fareham (New Provision) – September Start

We are supporting a specialist school in the Fareham area that is expanding its provision and is looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant for September.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing setting that supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including autism, sensory needs and communication difficulties.

The school is building a strong team and is looking for staff who are committed, adaptable and keen to be part of something developing.

In this role, you will:

• Support pupils across the classroom and in small groups
• Assist with communication strategies and sensory needs
• Help maintain a calm and structured environment
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team

This role would suit someone looking for a long-term opportunity within SEND.

Requirements:

• Experience in SEND or care backgrounds desirable
• DBS on the Update Service
• Up-to-date safeguarding training
