SEND Teaching Assistant – Primary School | Brighton
Full Time | ASAP Start | £89 per day

Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding, full-time role in a supportive primary school in Brighton? Pink Tile Education is partnering with a warm, inclusive school known for its strong commitment to meeting the needs of pupils with a wide range of additional needs.

We’re seeking a skilled and confident SEND TA to provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with Autism, Speech & Language needs, and SEMH. You’ll work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider inclusion team to help pupils access learning, regulate emotions, and build confidence.

What the role involves:

• Supporting pupils with SEND across EYFS/KS1/KS2 depending on need

• Implementing personalised strategies and structured routines

• Using visuals, now/next boards, sensory tools and communication systems

• Delivering targeted interventions with guidance from professionals

• Working collaboratively with teachers, specialists and parents

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous SEND experience within a school setting

• Understands Autism, communication needs or SEMH strategies

• Is calm, consistent, patient and proactive

• Can follow safeguarding and behaviour policies confidently

• Holds a DBS on the Update Service (or willing to update)
