Supporting students with SEMH needs in both one-to-one and small group settings
Helping pupils to build confidence, develop positive relationships, and increase their self-esteem
Contributing to a calm, structured environment that fosters emotional and academic development
Working closely with teaching staff to implement positive behaviour management strategies
Assisting with the delivery of engaging, inclusive learning tailored to individual needs
Patience and Resilience: A calm and composed individual who can remain patient in challenging situations and is committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
Energetic and Active: The role requires someone who is physically active, as it involves engaging with students in activities both inside and outside the classroom.
Experience with SEMH and SEN: Preferably, candidates will have prior experience supporting children with SEMH needs or other special educational needs in a school or care setting.
Team Player: Ability to work well as part of a team, taking direction from teachers and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
