About the Role

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We’re looking for experienced Special Needs Teaching Assistants who are committed, resilient, and ready to bring energy and creativity to the classroom.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism (ASC), and other learning challenges. You’ll play a vital role in helping students thrive—academically, socially, and emotionally—within a nurturing and inclusive environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with complex needs, helping them access learning and achieve their potential.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships that promote confidence and resilience.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and specialists to implement strategies that make a real impact.
  • Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation using restorative and trauma-informed approaches.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children with SEND, particularly SEMH and ASC.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and a genuine passion for inclusion.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Energy, patience, and a commitment to helping every child succeed.
