Sports Graduate Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant – Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Graduate Cover Supervisor / Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant secondary school in Crawley. This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers or sports professionals to develop their classroom and leadership skills while supporting students in their academic and physical education journey.

The Role:

• Full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, term-time only).
• Deliver pre-planned lessons and provide classroom supervision in the absence of the teacher.
• Support students in PE and other subjects, encouraging engagement and participation.
• Assist with sports activities, interventions, and extra-curricular clubs.
• Gain valuable experience in behaviour management, lesson delivery, and coaching techniques.

Requirements:

• A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related subject.
• At least 6 weeks of experience working with children or young people (schools, coaching, tutoring, youth work, etc.).
• A DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
• A passion for education, sport, and student development.
