🌟 Full-Time Supply Teacher – PRU Setting | Guildford | September Start 🌟

We are currently recruiting for a full-time Supply Teacher to join a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Guildford, starting September 2025. This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of young people.

About the Role:

  • Position: Supply Teacher (5 days per week)
  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Location: Guildford, Surrey
  • Subject Focus: Ideally Science and/or RSE, but open to other specialisms

About the Setting:

This PRU provides tailored education for students who are unable to attend mainstream school due to behavioural, emotional, or social challenges. The environment is nurturing, structured, and highly supportive, with a strong focus on helping students re-engage with learning and build confidence in their abilities.

You’ll be working with small class sizes, supported by a skilled team of teaching assistants and pastoral staff. The role requires flexibility, patience, and a trauma-informed approach to teaching.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a genuine interest in alternative provision
  • Experience working with students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs is highly desirable
  • Strong behaviour management and the ability to build trust and rapport with students
  • A calm, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching
