Supply Teaching Assistant

£76+ Per Day

Teaching Assistant – Full-Time and Part-Time Supply Staff (with a potential view of permanent part/full time if interested).

Pink Tile Education are a specialist in teaching opportunities across Sussex. Currently, we are recruiting for wonderful, forward-thinking schools that are seeking ad-hoc, supply Teaching Assistants to join their highly skilled teams. This opportunity will involve working closely with primary-aged and secondary-aged children to support their development. All our schools have a highly effective senior leadership team and can demonstrate outstanding teaching and learning. This role will provide you with a platform to further your practice and to be flexible. Please get in touch to learn more about this outstanding job.

Our schools are always looking for teaching assistants to cover their staff as and when they are needed. If a full-time role does not suit your current availability, be part of the team in a different way! We look to cover staff in advance, taking your availability week-to-week to match you up with some of our exciting, local schools.

By being on hand, you will create relationships with the school and the children that could see you offered a part-time full-time role in the future – should you be looking for that opportunity.

Schools ideally would like TAs to be available 08:30-15:30 on their selected days and would prefer those TAs to be asked to cover first. However, 09:00 – 14:45 would also work in emergency cover.

This is a wonderful opportunity to work with school children in and around Worthing. If you are seeking an opportunity as a bank staff teaching assistant and have the relevant skills, we want to hear from you.

Are you:

  • Passionate about inspiring young people to develop and grow?
  • Looking for a role that will fit your availability?
  • Creative, dedicated and willing to work as part of a high-performing team?
  • Do you have/want to develop good classroom management skills?

Teaching Assistant required for day-to-day cover – Worthing, West Sussex

Minimum Requirements:

  • Natural ability and understanding when working with young people, especially those with SEND.
  • Passion for helping and supporting children develop confidence and achievement.
  • Ready to learn about the role of a Teaching Assistant and grow as you progress in your new role?
  • Happy to accept a challenge, make friends with colleagues quickly, build relationships with children immediately and be positive, resilient and a great staff member for the day.

The role needs you to adapt quickly, build relationships with children as you go through the day and be ready in the face of a challenge such as behaviour management. Experience is not essential, but a positive, resilient, flexible personality is needed, whichever class you are working with, whatever year group you are working with.
This role will suit:
– Gap Year Students
– Aspiring Teaching Assistants/educators looking for their first step into education (gaining experience for CV)
– Semi-retired workers of education
– Term time roles
– Workers only looking for the odd couple of days around other commitments e.g. self-employment, childcare, weekend work, auditions, etc.
