We are recruiting passionate, resilient individuals to work within SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) education settings, supporting children who need calm, consistent adults around them.
You’ll work in small classes, providing 1:1 or 2:1 support, helping pupils regulate emotions, re-engage with learning, and feel safe within the school environment. This role is ideal for someone who can think on their feet, adapt quickly, and build strong, trusting relationships.
The Role:

Support pupils with SEMH needs in classrooms and around the school

Provide 1:1 and 2:1 support tailored to individual needs
-
Help de-escalate challenging behaviour using positive, trauma-informed approaches
-
Support pupils to move calmly through the school day (“go with the flow”)

Build positive, consistent relationships with pupils
-
Support the class teacher with learning activities, routines, and behaviour strategies
-
Create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils can succeed
We’re Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people with SEMH, SEND, or challenging behaviour OR
-
Transferable experience from roles such as:
-
Youth work
-
Care or support work
-
Mental health services
-
Residential care
-
Behaviour support
-
Coaching, mentoring, or community work
