Pink Tile Education are excited to be representing a warm and welcoming children’s home in Horsham in their search for committed and compassionate Support Workers to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children and young people with Autism, SEND, and emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)—some of whom have experienced trauma and abuse.

๐Ÿงก About the Role:

  • Support children aged 7–18 with their emotional, educational, and personal development.

  • Children attend either the on-site SEND school or other schools based on individual needs.

  • Support includes daily routines, life skills, and positive behaviour encouragement.

  • Use of company vehicle to transport children – a full UK driving licence is essential.

โฑ Shift Patterns:

  • Vary across:

    • 7am–3pm

    • 3pm–11pm

    • Longer shifts (12–14 hours), creating a 3-day working week.

  • Must be flexible and available for rotating shifts, including weekends and bank holidays. At least one weekend off a month!

โœ… Ideal Candidate:

  • Must hold a full UK driving licence (for work travel and use of company vehicles).

  • Resilient, caring, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.

  • Able to handle challenging behaviours calmly and professionally.

  • Experience in care, education, or trauma-informed environments is desirable but not essential—training will be provided.

  • Available to start ASAP.
