Are you a compassionate, patient, and dedicated individual looking to make a real difference in a child’s life?

We’re looking for a brilliant Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school, supporting a child on a 1:1 basis who has an EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) in place.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity — meaning if it’s a great fit, you’ll have the chance to become a permanent member of the school’s team!

🌟 About the Role:

Working closely with one child to provide tailored support throughout the school day
Supporting learning, communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
Liaising with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies from the EHCP
Helping to create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive environment
Long-term role with the potential to go permanent for the right person

🧩 About You:

✔️ Experience supporting children with SEND, either in schools or similar settings
✔️ Understanding of EHCPs and the importance of personalised support
✔️ Patient, calm, and nurturing
✔️ Reliable and committed – ready to build a relationship and stick with it
✔️ Available full-time, Monday to Friday during school hours
✔️ Able to commute to schools in the Brighton area
