Salary: £20,000 – £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)

🏫 About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Woking supporting students aged 11–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), and related learning differences.
This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a nurturing, trauma-informed environment where every day is different—and every interaction matters. You’ll work closely with teachers and therapists to support students in building confidence, emotional resilience, and academic progress.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored classroom support to students with SEMH and ASC needs
- Build strong, trusting relationships with young people
- Support the delivery of individual learning plans and behaviour strategies
- Help create a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment
- Work collaboratively with the wider school team to support holistic development
👤 About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs (SEMH/ASC preferred)
- Is patient, empathetic, and emotionally resilient
- Can remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Is a team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Holds relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) – desirable but not essential
