We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Crowborough. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a school that truly values its staff and provides a nurturing environment for both students and employees.
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide in-class support to students across a range of subjects
- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
- Support students with additional needs, including SEN and EAL
- Help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Work 1:1 or in small groups to aid learning and understanding
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Assist with administrative tasks related to teaching and learning
- Uphold the school’s behaviour policies and promote positive behaviour
Requirements:
- Must have a DBS on the Update Service or be prepared to obtain one
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting preferred
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and their learning
- Reliable, flexible, and a strong team player
