Teaching Assistant – Bromley

Location: Bromley, South London
Salary: £100–£120 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Contract: Full-time
Role: Teaching Assistant / Classroom Support

Are you a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD or learning difficulties?

We are currently looking for a caring, confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in the Bromley area.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with children and is passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and reach their potential.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide classroom and individual support, working closely with teachers and other members of the support team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs

  • Working with small groups to support learning and development

  • Delivering targeted 1:1 interventions

  • Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs

  • Working with children with Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties

  • Supporting pupils who may display challenging behaviour

  • Helping pupils remain engaged and focused during lessons

  • Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils

  • Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities

  • Working as part of a strong and supportive team

  • Creating a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment

About You

The ideal Teaching Assistant will be:

  • Able to build strong relationships with pupils

Previous experience working with SEND, SEMH, Autism, ADHD or learning difficulties is highly desirable. Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Support Assistant or similar would be advantageous.

Pay & Holiday Pay
