A highly regarded village primary school near Pulborough is seeking a caring and proactive Teaching Assistant to join its Specialist Communication Centre.

This dedicated provision supports children with speech and language difficulties, autism and developmental delays. The school works closely with speech and language therapists and places communication at the centre of everything it does.

Your Responsibilities

• Deliver speech and language interventions
• Support communication-focused learning activities
• Encourage social development
• Work closely with therapists and teachers
• Monitor pupil progress and achievements
• Promote confidence and independence
• Assist children during structured and unstructured times
