Location: Guildford (near Cranleigh)
Salary: £105 per day
Contract: Full Time, Permanent


About the Role

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) provision. You’ll play a key role in supporting students from Year 7 upwards, helping them thrive both academically and emotionally in a nurturing environment.


What You’ll Do

  • Support classroom learning and provide one-to-one or small group interventions
  • Help deliver tailored learning plans and encourage positive behaviour strategies
  • Assist teachers in creating an inclusive, engaging classroom environment
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, boosting confidence and wellbeing
  • Monitor progress and share feedback with staff and parents

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people (SEMH or SEND experience is a bonus!)
  • Great communication skills and a calm, positive approach
  • Ability to stay proactive and supportive in challenging situations
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (due to location)
