We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive school in Hastings.
You’ll work closely with class teachers to help pupils across all areas of learning, supporting them to develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a meaningful impact in the classroom.
Support pupils in lessons to help them engage, focus, and achieve their learning goals.
Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and learning materials.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support as needed.
Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing.
Contribute to the smooth running of the classroom and wider school community.
Previous experience working with children or young people (in a school or similar setting).
A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is essential.

Desirable:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience supporting pupils in a primary or secondary school.
