Pink Tile Education is recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism (ASD) and sensory processing needs in a primary school in Bexhill-on-Sea.
This pupil benefits from clear routines, visual structure and sensory regulation strategies. The school is looking for someone calm, consistent and confident supporting pupils who may become overwhelmed in busy classroom environments.
Key responsibilities:
1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
Using visual timetables, now/next boards and sensory tools
Supporting transitions and reducing anxiety
Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience supporting pupils with Autism
A calm, patient and structured approach
Understanding of sensory needs and regulation strategies
An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
