Teaching Assistant (Full-Time) – Horam

Location: Horam, East Sussex
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive school community in Horam. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping children learn, grow, and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide in-class support to teachers across a range of subjects and year groups
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and promote progress
Support pupils with additional needs, ensuring all learners are included
Help maintain a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
Assist with classroom preparation, resources, and activities
Contribute to the wider life of the school with professionalism and energy

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
Is patient, kind, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
Has good communication and teamwork skills
Is proactive, flexible, and willing to learn
Holds (or is willing to work toward) relevant TA qualifications
