Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (Year 3/4)

Location: Hailsham, East Sussex
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only

Job Summary
We are looking for a positive, reliable and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3/4 class in a friendly primary school in Hailsham. This is a full-time role working closely with the class teacher to support learning, behaviour and pupil progress.

Key Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning in a mixed Year 3/4 class
Work with groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
Assist with classroom organisation, resources and activities
Support pupils with additional needs where required
Promote positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive environment
Help deliver engaging and creative learning experiences

Requirements

Experience working with primary-aged children (Year 3/4 desirable)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Calm, patient and supportive approach
Ability to follow teacher guidance and use initiative
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
