Pink Tile Education is recruiting a MAPA-trained Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Wallington.

This rewarding role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning, develop independence, and thrive within a supportive and structured environment.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
  • Assisting pupils to engage with learning and classroom activities
  • Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Working closely with teachers and therapists to meet individual needs
  • Helping to maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment

We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEND
  • Current MAPA training or previous MAPA experience
  • Confidence supporting pupils with behaviours that challenge
  • A calm, resilient, and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Experience supporting pupils with Autism, complex needs, or communication difficulties would be advantageous.
