Pink Tile Education are supporting a specialist SEN school in Portsmouth that is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.

This school caters for pupils with complex needs and places a strong emphasis on communication, life skills, and emotional development. Staff work closely together to create a calm, structured, and supportive environment where pupils can thrive.

The role would suit someone who is patient, nurturing, and committed to supporting children with additional needs on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils within the classroom and during structured activities
• Assist with communication strategies and sensory needs
• Help pupils develop independence and confidence
• Work closely with teachers and therapists

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have experience working with SEND or a willingness to learn
• Be calm, compassionate, and resilient
• Be able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Be a strong team player

Essential Requirements:

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service
