A vibrant and inclusive school in Littlehampton is looking for a full-time teaching assistant or Psychology graduate to support pupils from September 2025. If you’re passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning, this could be the perfect opportunity.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs or emotional challenges, helping them to access the curriculum and develop essential life skills. The school has a nurturing ethos and a strong focus on student wellbeing, making it an excellent place to begin or build your career in education or psychology.
In this role, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students
Work with pupils with SEND, including autism and social/emotional needs
Support teachers with lesson delivery and behaviour management
Help track progress and liaise with the wider support team
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a degree in Psychology or relevant experience in education or care
Is enthusiastic, compassionate, and proactive
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
Holds (or is willing to apply for) a DBS on the Update Service
