Are you confident building positive relationships with young people and supporting them through challenges?

We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to support secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs within a specialist educational setting in Portsmouth.

You will work alongside experienced staff to support pupils both inside and outside the classroom, helping them engage with learning, regulate emotions and develop confidence. This is a highly rewarding position that would suit someone who is patient, resilient and passionate about making a difference.

The role:

✅ Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
✅ Encouraging engagement and participation in lessons
✅ Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
✅ Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
