We are currently recruiting a calm, patient and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in the Worthing area. This full-time, ongoing role involves supporting children with a range of special educational needs within a structured, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils feel safe, supported and engaged in their learning. You will work closely with teaching and support staff, providing consistent, individualised support and adapting your approach to meet each student’s emotional, behavioural and learning needs.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience supporting children with SEND (including SEMH, ASD or additional needs)
A calm, patient and empathetic approach
Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills
Confidence supporting pupils within the classroom
A proactive, resilient and compassionate attitude
