Teaching Assistant – Brighton – Maternity Cover

Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for a fantastic, forward-thinking secondary school in Brighton. You would be working with Key Stage 3 and 4. You will support the team in providing an opportunity for these young people to re-engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities.

Pay = £75 per day: Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 3:30. Term time only. Maternity cover to start ASAP, end date not confirmed.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one (we can help you to obtain one before your start date)
  • Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
  • Confident working with young people
  • Experience working with young people (desired)

Responsibilities:

  • Support class teacher
  • Support the pupils
  • Understand individual needs & adapt approach
  • Manage behaviour
