At Pink Tile Education, we believe every child deserves the chance to thrive. We work closely with SEN, SEMH, primary and secondary schools (mainstream and independent) across Eastbourne, supporting children from EYFS through KS1, KS2, KS3, KS4 and KS5. We’re looking for caring, adaptable, and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our welcoming bank of staff.

Whether you’re seeking day-to-day supply, a short-term role, or something more long-term or permanent, we’ll work with you to find opportunities that fit your skills and lifestyle.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping children and young people feel supported, included, and confident in their learning. Your role may include:

• Offering 1:1 support, building positive relationships and giving pupils the encouragement they need.
• Supporting small groups, helping to reinforce learning and celebrate progress.
• Assisting the class teacher with activities, resources, and creating a safe, engaging classroom environment.
• Supporting children with SEN and SEMH needs, helping them overcome challenges and feel valued.
• Encouraging independence, resilience, and a love of learning in every child you work with.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from people with a genuine passion for education and supporting young people. You don’t need to have years of classroom experience — what matters most is your commitment, patience, and ability to connect with children.

You’ll also need:

• A positive, flexible approach to working in different schools and key stages.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
