A lovely secondary school in Brighton is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join their team as an Unqualified English Teacher. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging English lessons to students aged 11–16 under the guidance of the English department.
Support the development of students’ reading, writing, and communication skills.
Assist in planning lessons and managing classroom activities.
Monitor and report on student progress in line with school policy.
Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
Requirements:
A genuine interest in teaching and working with young people.
Excellent communication skills and a good command of English.
Must hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one prior to starting.
Safeguarding training is essential (or willingness to complete it before starting).
Previous experience in an educational setting is beneficial but not essential.
