Key Responsibilities:
Deliver or support the teaching of humanities subjects to students aged 11–16.
Follow lesson plans provided by the school and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Support students in developing critical thinking, discussion, and written skills.
Adapt confidently to different schools and classroom settings.
Uphold safeguarding policies and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement.
Requirements:
A keen interest in the humanities and secondary education.
Strong communication skills and a confident classroom presence.
Must hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one.
Safeguarding training is essential (or willingness to complete it before starting).
Experience working with young people or in educational settings is desirable but not essential.
