Key Responsibilities:
Deliver or support the delivery of engaging maths lessons to students aged 11–16.
Encourage the development of numeracy skills and mathematical thinking.
Support classroom management and assist in lesson preparation.
Adapt to different school environments while maintaining a professional and positive approach.
Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Requirements:
A strong interest in education and confidence in maths.
Excellent communication and classroom presence.
Must hold a valid DBS certificate or be willing to obtain one.
Safeguarding training is essential (or willingness to complete it prior to starting).
Experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
