Pink Tile Education is supporting a welcoming secondary school in the Bognor Regis area who are looking for a dedicated Unqualified Teacher to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and enjoys working with young people. Whether you have previous classroom experience, have worked with young people in another setting, or are looking to take your first steps into teaching, we would love to hear from you.

You will be supported by the school and Pink Tile Education throughout your placement, giving you the opportunity to build your confidence, develop your classroom practice and make a positive impact on pupils’ learning.

Day to day, you will:

• Deliver engaging and supportive lessons, helping pupils understand the subject content and encouraging them to take an active role in their learning.
• Create a positive classroom environment, maintaining high expectations while ensuring pupils feel welcomed, supported and encouraged to achieve their potential.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, getting to know their individual strengths and needs and adapting your approach where appropriate.
• Support pupil progress and engagement, identifying where pupils may need additional guidance and providing encouragement to help them overcome barriers to learning.
• Work closely with teachers and school staff, contributing to planning, classroom activities and the wider life of the school while developing your own teaching skills and experience.

What we’re looking for:

• A genuine passion for education and working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in building positive relationships with secondary-aged pupils.
• A good level of subject knowledge in your chosen area would be beneficial.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• A positive, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils.
• Someone who is reliable, adaptable and keen to develop their experience within education.

• £110–£130 per day, depending on experience
