About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring educator to gain hands-on classroom experience and develop their teaching skills. You will play a vital role in supporting students’ academic and personal development, delivering lessons, and fostering a love of learning. This role is ideal for those with a strong interest in teaching, even without Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and interactive lessons across a range of subjects using provided lesson plans.
• Support students in reaching their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with staff to uphold the school’s ethos and values.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and in line with school policies.

Requirements:

• DBS Check: A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service is required.
• Safeguarding Training: Up-to-date safeguarding training is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for working in education.
• Previous experience working with young people in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
