Pink Tile Education are proud to be representing a nurturing and specialist children’s home in Horsham, currently seeking a Waking Night Support Worker to join their dedicated team. This role involves supporting children with Autism, SEND, and emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD)—some of whom may have experienced trauma or abuse.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is resilient, compassionate, and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people during night-time hours.

🌙 About the Role:

  • Work three 12-hour waking night shifts per week (e.g., 8pm–8am or similar pattern).

  • Provide overnight care and safeguarding, ensuring a safe and calm environment.

  • Support children with bedtime routines, emotional reassurance, and any incidents or needs during the night.

  • Complete accurate records and handovers to day staff.

  • Use of a company vehicle to transport children if needed – a full UK driving licence is essential.

✅ Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be a driver with a full UK driving licence (for commuting and company car use).

  • Calm, observant, and able to manage potentially challenging behaviour overnight.

  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional and complex needs.

  • Experience in residential care, autism, trauma, or EBD settings is desirable but full training is provided.

  • Available to start as soon as possible.
