Year 4 Class Teacher – Full Time

Horsham | February–July 2026 | KS2 Experienced Teacher

A welcoming and well‑respected primary school in Horsham is seeking a dedicated and confident Year 4 Class Teacher to join their team from 23rd February 2026 through to 22nd July 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced KS2 practitioner to step into a supportive environment where you can make a meaningful impact during the second half of the academic year.


About the Role

The school is looking for a teacher who can confidently take full class responsibility, providing consistency and high-quality teaching for a vibrant and enthusiastic Year 4 class.

You will be involved in:

  • Planning engaging, creative, and well‑structured lessons
  • Delivering high-quality teaching aligned with the school’s curriculum
  • Marking, assessment, and monitoring pupil progress
  • Liaising with parents and carers when required
  • Working collaboratively with the Year 4 team and wider teaching staff
  • Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience in KS2
  • A calm, confident, and adaptable teaching style
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
  • Someone who is organised, approachable, and committed to pupil progress
  • A team player who enjoys working within a supportive school community
