Primary Teacher – Year 4 (Long-Term) | Eastbourne

Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex
Start Date: February half term
Contract: Long-term (with potential to extend)
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)
DBS: Enhanced DBS on the Update Service required

Pink Tile Education is working with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Eastbourne to recruit a Year 4 Teacher for a long-term role starting February half term.

This is a settled KS2 class within a school that places a strong emphasis on consistency, inclusion and staff support. You’ll be joining a collaborative team with clear expectations, supportive leadership and strong TA presence in class.

The role:

• Full classroom responsibility for a Year 4 class

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum

• Working closely with Teaching Assistants to support all learners

• Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching where needed

• Creating a calm, inclusive and positive classroom environment

We’re looking for:

• QTS

• KS2 teaching experience (Year 4 experience beneficial but not essential)

• Confident classroom management and strong relationships with pupils

• A reflective and collaborative approach

This role would suit an experienced teacher or confident ECT seeking a stable, long-term position within a supportive Eastbourne school.
