A welcoming and well-regarded one-form entry primary school near Birdham is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys helping pupils thrive during this important stage of their primary education. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a settled and engaged Year 6 class and work alongside a supportive leadership team committed to achieving the best outcomes for every child.
The Role
- Full teaching responsibility for a Year 6 class
- Planning, preparation and marking required
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across the curriculum
- Support pupils in preparation for SATs whilst maintaining a positive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with experienced colleagues and senior leaders
- Participate fully in school life and contribute to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
- Year 6 experience desirable but not essential
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passionate about raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Committed to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment
