Pink Tile Education are working with a specialist SEND school in Chichester who are looking for enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people with a wide range of complex needs in a warm, supportive environment.
The Role:
Provide classroom support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including physical, sensory and learning needs.
Assist with personal care and mobility where required.
Help to deliver engaging lessons and therapeutic activities, ensuring pupils can access learning.
Work closely with teachers and support staff to create a safe, nurturing environment.
Encourage independence, communication and social skills through positive support.
About You:
Experience supporting children or young people with SEND (school, care or personal experience all considered).
Kind, patient and resilient with a genuine passion for helping others.
Happy to get involved in all aspects of school life, including outdoor learning, sensory activities and personal care.
Able to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
