SEMH Teaching Assistant – Hailsham Alternative Provision

Pink Tile Education are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a small alternative provision in Hailsham supporting pupils who need a different approach to education.

This specific Hailsham provision supports pupils who may have struggled in mainstream school due to behaviour, anxiety, SEMH needs, low confidence, poor attendance or disrupted learning.

The role needs a Teaching Assistant who can build relationships, stay calm during challenging moments and help pupils take small steps back towards learning. You will be working with pupils in small groups and 1:1, supporting routines, emotional regulation and engagement.

This Hailsham SEMH Teaching Assistant role would suit someone with experience in youth work, mentoring, behaviour support, care, education, sports coaching or residential support.

Temporary, permanent and temp-to-permanent opportunities are available.
