Pink Tile Education are working with an alternative provision in Chichester who are seeking a resilient and passionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people who require consistency, patience and encouragement to thrive.
The Role:
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups with SEMH needs.
Encourage engagement with learning through creative and practical approaches.
Help pupils regulate emotions and develop positive behaviour strategies.
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to ensure pupils feel safe and supported.
Be a positive role model, promoting resilience and confidence.
About You:
Experience in SEMH, youth work, care or behaviour support is desirable (but not essential).
Calm, confident and resilient in challenging situations.
Able to build strong, trusting relationships quickly.
A genuine passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
