SEMH Learning Support Assistant

We’re recruiting for a specialist SEMH setting in Farnham that supports pupils who haven’t always had the smoothest educational journey. Many of the students have experienced barriers to learning and need positive role models around them who can help them regulate emotions, build confidence and re-engage with education.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be sitting quietly at the back of the classroom. You’ll be building relationships, supporting learning, helping students through challenging moments and celebrating the small wins that can make all the difference.

The school has a strong focus on creating a nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, respected and understood. Staff work closely together and genuinely support one another, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact.

• Teaching assistance

You’ll need:

• Previous experience working with children or young people
• A resilient and positive attitude
• DBS on the Update Service
• Up-to-date Safeguarding Training
