SEN Learning Support Assistant

£14.25 per hour

Pink Tile Education are working with a supportive SEND setting in the Havant area seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their outstanding team.

The school supports pupils with a variety of additional needs including autism, communication difficulties, learning disabilities and complex needs. Staff are committed to creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering personalised support to pupils
• Supporting classroom learning and engagement
• Assisting with personal development and social skills
• Promoting independence and self-confidence
• Recording progress and sharing observations with the wider team
• Supporting pupils during breaktimes and enrichment activities

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience supporting children or young people
• A nurturing, flexible and positive attitude
• An understanding of SEND or a willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Reliability and commitment
