Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity supporting children with SEND, Autism, ADHD and challenging behaviour?
Pink Tile Education is currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a school in the Croydon area. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Behaviour Support Worker looking to develop their experience within SEND.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide dedicated support to pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence and independence.
You will be supporting pupils through:
1:1 support for pupils with SEND
Supporting children with challenging behaviour
Working with pupils with Autism and ADHD
Small intervention groups
Learning support and classroom support
Helping pupils engage with lessons and activities
Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation
Building positive relationships with pupils
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff
Creating a calm, safe and inclusive learning environment
We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about working with children and young people
Patient, caring and resilient
Confident supporting challenging behaviour
Interested in or experienced in SEND, Autism and ADHD
Comfortable providing 1:1 and small-group support
Able to build strong and positive relationships with pupils
Reliable and consistent
A strong team player
Keen to develop their education and SEND experience
Previous experience in a school, SEND, SEMH, care, youth work or support setting is desirable, but not essential.
